Amateurs who are members of the GC Golfschaukel or guests who are members of a recognised Austrian or foreign club and whose handicap is not higher than 54 (EPE) are eligible to participate. The game is played according to the official golf rules (incl. amateur statutes) of the R&A, the standard and handicap system, the game and competition rules of the ÖGV and the course rules of the GC Golfschaukel. It must be played with a 1.68" ball that appears in the currently valid >list of authorised golf balls<.

Four-ball best ball according to Stableford
Two players form a team, each playing their own golf ball from the tee to the hole. In the end, only the best score per hole is counted, both gross and net. 3/4 of each player's handicap is used to calculate the joint handicap. It is important that each player writes his score individually on the score card, the better result per hole is then calculated.
At the end of the tournament, the award ceremony takes place in the Eulenwirt restaurant.
