A mug of Christmas spirit, please!

The scent of punch, mulled wine, and Christmas cookies will lead you straight to our punch hut at the Flüstertherme. Here, you can warm your hands around a hot mug, enjoy a sweet treat, and wind down the afternoon in comfort.

The punch hut is open daily in December from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. On Fridays, a brass ensemble provides the perfect musical accompaniment from about 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

Christmas Exhibition at Burgau Castle
Under the theme “To the Sound of Christmas Bells,” the historic castle halls and courtyard become a festive setting. Perfect for an afternoon of exploring, marveling, and enjoying.
December 7, 14, and 21, at 4 p.m. each day

The meeting point for the excursions is the day bar. Please check in at the hotel reception by 1:00 p.m. on the day of the event. A maximum of seven people may participate per trip. Admission is by voluntary donation.

First goosebumps, then the joy of St. Nicholas Day

On December 5, the Stegersbach Thermal Baths will be both spooky and beautiful: Starting around 5:00 p.m., the Krampus figures will parade through the baths alongside St. Nicholas. A spectacular show featuring small-scale pyrotechnics and an outdoor fireworks display will provide some thrilling moments.

Afterward, the stage belongs to St. Nicholas: Around 6:00 p.m., he’ll hand out apples and tangerines to the children in the thermal baths’ bistro.

An Advent market right at your doorstep

On December 19 and 20, the square in front of our hotel transforms into a small, charming Advent market. Among the decorated wooden huts, you’ll find arts and crafts, regional natural products, jewelry, wines, and spirits. Maybe the perfect gift for a loved one is waiting here?

Mulled wine and winter treats invite you to take a break and enjoy the moment. Christmas music, a barrel organ player, and a small nativity scene exhibition will accompany your visit. For the kids, there are pony rides and a Christmas puppet show.

Torchlight outside, your favorite music inside

On our torchlight hikes on December 19 and 23, you’ll discover the countryside around Stegersbach by the warm glow of the torches. We’ll set off at 4 p.m. each day from the hotel bar. After about an hour, mulled wine or a shot of schnapps will be waiting for you. Please register by 3:30 p.m. at the hotel reception desk.

Our evening bar will also be full of atmosphere: Saitensprung on December 3, Joe Böhm on December 9, Anita Pur on December 11, and the Bolshoi Don Cossacks on December 18 will provide a variety of musical entertainment starting at 8 p.m. each night.

Would you like to get to know Southern Burgenland through a glass of wine? At the wine tastings with Stefan Wiener from Wiener Wine & More, you’ll discover regional wines—on December 3, 10, 17, and 22, starting at 6:00 p.m. in front of the Residenz Restaurant.
